The CGGVeritas Group is the world’s leading international geophysical company delivering a wide range of technologies, services and equipment throughout the global oil and gas industry.

CGGVeritas, on behalf of its regional subsidiaries, is now recruiting for two major long-term Ocean Bottom Cable (OBC) seismic crews in the Middle East. These fully offshore operations, located in the Saudi waters of the Gulf and managed through a fleet of vessels, will operate the latest Sercel SeaRay® 4C equipment and CGGVeritas deployment and positioning systems.

Job Objectives Field management of the seismic crew and operations in accordance with the terms of the survey contract.

Main activities
 Manage and coordinate the various activities relating to survey data acquisition
 Supervise and motivate the crew to ensure the optimum use of resources
 Responsible for productivity, operational costs, quality, lead times
 Responsible for compliance with HSE standards and procedures in the field
 Administer supplies and purchases of materials
 Manage day-to-day client relationships in the field

Job Requirements
 Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering,
 Seismic experience in Shallow Water/OBC crews or any offshore experience would be appreciated.
 Results-oriented, autonomy, team player and spirit of initiative
 Excellent communication skills with proven leadership capabilities.
 Ability to work abroad in an international environment and sometimes in challenging field conditions.
