The CGGVeritas Group is the world’s leading international geophysical company delivering a wide range of technologies, services and equipment throughout the global oil and gas industry.

CGGVeritas, on behalf of its regional subsidiaries, is now recruiting for two major long-term Ocean Bottom Cable (OBC) seismic crews in the Middle East. These fully offshore operations, located in the Saudi waters of the Gulf and managed through a fleet of vessels, will operate the latest Sercel SeaRay® 4C equipment and CGGVeritas deployment and positioning systems.

Party Manager

Job Objectives Field management of the seismic crew and operations in accordance with the terms of the survey contract.

Main activities
- Manage and coordinate the various activities relating to survey data acquisition
- Supervise and motivate the crew to ensure the optimum use of resources
- Responsible for productivity, operational costs, quality, lead times
- Responsible for compliance with HSE standards and procedures in the field
- Administer supplies and purchases of materials
- Manage day-to-day client relationships in the field

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering,
- Seismic experience in Shallow Water/OBC crews or any offshore experience would be appreciated.
- Results-oriented, autonomy, team player and spirit of initiative
- Excellent communication skills with proven leadership capabilities.
- Ability to work abroad in an international environment and sometimes in challenging field conditions.
