The CGGVeritas Group is the world’s leading international geophysical company delivering a wide range of technologies, services and equipment throughout the global oil and gas industry.

CGGVeritas, on behalf of its regional subsidiaries, is now recruiting for two major long-term Ocean Bottom Cable (OBC) seismic crews in the Middle East. These fully offshore operations, located in the Saudi waters of the Gulf and managed through a fleet of vessels, will operate the latest Sercel SeaRay® 4C equipment and CGGVeritas deployment and positioning systems.

Job Objectives With a key role on the seismic crew, you will be responsible for checking the quality of acquisition data and seismic data processing products.

Main activities
 Implement and perform quality controls on acquisition data and on seismic data processing output,
 Check compliance with contractual data processing technical specifications,
 Administer production files and magnetic media using software utilities.

Job Requirements
 Engineering Degree or equivalent,
 Excellent computer skills,
 Seismic experience in Shallow Water/OBC crews or any offshore experience would be appreciated. Knowledge of CGGVeritas software (Geoland®, Geocluster®) would be an advantage.
 Excellent communication skills with proven leadership capabilities. Ability to work abroad in an international environment and sometimes in challenging field conditions. Ability to work as a team player with a spirit of initiative.
